Breakdancer foam-couch (several sleeping- and sitting positions)
The multifunctional piece of sleeping- and sitting furniture is constructed out of 4 foam-segments that can rotate clockwise over a centric spindle. These 4 segments have got different splays which create several sleeping- and sitting positions. The integrated rotating system fixes the segments at 0°, 180°, 360°, … By using frame-foam, a new kind of foam, the internal frame is limited to a simple metal spine. The “Breakdancer” aims at young people and promotes the new kind of sitting, hanging and laying down.
