Nude lips - new minimalism - a natural lip shade with luminous natural skin tones
Makeup artists have been embracing nude, or nearly nude, in several of the shows. Thakoon's forest nymph collection included a bevvy of nude lipped beauties. Similarly at Derek Lam, retro 1960s eye makeup was worn with a natural lip shade. Donna Karan too, for her beautiful ethereal collection worked luminous natural skin tones with au naturelle lips. Vera Wang's also included natural lips. It's clearly a growing phenomenon. Only recently Gemma Arterton worked the 'barely there' makeup look on the red carpet.
